Ten by Twelve is a Vermont-based duo consisting of Russell Horton (acoustic drums, e-drums, mbiras, wind instruments, percussion, sampled instruments, and voice) and Ricia Gordon (keyboards, drones, and small percussion). Pieces emerge from exploratory improvisation and are recorded live with a stereo room mic. All instruments are considered to be equal in the mix.
